Empanada Kitchen, an Argentinean-style handmade empanada business, is now sharing space with Classic Burgers at 613 Pearl St, La Jolla. Owned by Matias Rigali and Dan Housenga, Empanada Kitchen started in 2016, selling freshly baked empanadas at various farmers markets across San Diego. The company expanded to three physical locations after tremendous success. Empanada Kitchen offers a variety of fillings, including traditional beef, braised lamb, ham and cheese, sautéed chicken, and vegetarian options. Customers can also enjoy coffee drinks made with Bump Coffee beans.
