The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, in a joint operation, arrested a 63-year old woman named Josephine Marroquin for possession of 917 grams of heroin. Her vehicle was pulled over near I-35 and Loop 1604, where a K9 detected the presence of the drugs in the front of the car. Two cans containing heroin, estimated to be worth $91,700, were found under the hood near the windshield. Marroquin was released on a $75,000 bond and is currently awaiting indictment on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
