A United Airlines flight from San Francisco to Boston was forced to make an emergency landing in Denver due to damage to one of its wings. Passenger Kevin Clarke, an announcer on the World Pro Ski Tour, reported feeling the plane shake after takeoff. He also noticed the pilot inspecting the wing before announcing that it had sustained damage. ABC News Aviation expert Steve Ganyard suggested that the break could have been due to age or a maintenance issue, though the FAA has not confirmed a cause and the incident is still under investigation. No one was injured and all 165 passengers were put on another plane to Boston.
