The track-only Gordon Murray T.50s Niki Lauda features a unique sounding V12 engine, as revealed in a new video by the firm. The engine is a 3.9-liter naturally-aspirated V12 sourced from Cosworth, but has been significantly altered to generate 772 horsepower while revving up to 12,100 rpm. Major changes include a higher compression ratio, revised cylinder heads, bespoke cams, a unique induction system with a roof-mounted ram intake, and the removal of the variable valve timing. The T.50s Niki Lauda also includes a carbon fiber monocoque and thinner carbon fiber panels on the bodywork. Only 25 units of the model will be produced, starting at £3.1 million ($3.9 million).
