Rehab patients being housed at former hotel forced to move

A facility in Tempe, Arizona, operated by NewFound Hope, LLC, has been shut down after it was found to be unlicensed. The facility, a former Ramada Inn, was housing dozens of people undergoing substance abuse treatment. NewFound Hope has been suspended by Arizona’s Medicaid agency, ACHHS. Residents, including those with families, were forced to find new accommodations. The Department of Health Services ordered NewFound Hope to cease and desist last May after an investigation found it was operating an unlicensed treatment center.
