Philadelphia crime: 4 in custody after attempted carjacking, police chase end with crash at Roosevelt Boulevard and Whitaker Ave
Four suspects have been apprehended following an attempted carjacking and subsequent police pursuit in Northeast Philadelphia. The individuals, who were being pursued in a white Dodge Durango believed to be involved in the attempted carjacking near Friends Hospital, were intercepted following a collision at the intersection of Roosevelt Boulevard and Whitaker Avenue. The Durango, confirmed as stolen, crashed into a Ford Explorer. At least one of the suspects was armed.
