Pearl Jam, the Rock Hall-inducted band, has returned with a new album described by frontman Eddie Vedder as their “best work.” The album, “Dark Matter,” features a heavy, power chord-driven sound. Its release is set for April 19, following up their experimental 2020 album, “Gigaton.” “Gigaton” peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart. Pearl Jam will also be headlining the BottleRock Festival in Napa Valley, CA, on May 25.
