New Ineos Fusilier EV Is A Smaller SUV With Optional Gas Range-Extender

8

Ineos has unveiled the Fusilier, its first all-electric vehicle that will also offer a range extender engine. The off-roader is slightly smaller than Ineos’ first model, the Grenadier, and will be driven by electric motors but can be equipped with a small gas engine to charge the batteries when a plug isn’t available. The company claims this setup, used by Audi’s RS Q e-tron, helps to reduce emissions while offering the range and refueling capabilities needed. The vehicle, developed with the assistance of Magna in Austria, is built on a bespoke skateboard platform and is set to launch in 2026.
