San Diego’s North County experienced intermittent rainfall throughout Tuesday, with some of the heaviest precipitation reported in Oceanside. Despite the weather conditions, visitors and residents alike continued to enjoy the beach. There were instances of ponding, but no significant flooding was reported. Firefighters cautioned boaters about waves reaching 8-12 feet in the channel, resulting in most boats remaining docked at Oceanside Harbor. High tides in Mission Beach led to city crews reinforcing berms around a lifeguard tower.
