The fourth generation of the Mini Cooper, specifically the entry-level Cooper E, is a less powerful and cheaper model that emphasizes a minimalist design. Its front-mounted electric motor produces 181 hp (135 kW / 184 PS) and 214 lb-ft (290 Nm) of torque, and it can go from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 7.3 seconds. The Mini Cooper E features a smaller battery pack with a capacity of 40.7 kWh, offering a WLTP range of 190 miles (305 km) between charges. The starting price for this EV model is £30,000 ($37,715). The Cooper E joins the fully electric Mini Cooper E and SE, as well as the ICE-powered Mini Cooper and Cooper S models.
