The Menifee Union School District (MUSD) has announced that a fifth-grade student, Elijah Decano, will represent the district in the Riverside County Spelling Bee in March. Decano won the 2024 District Spelling Bee, which saw 38 students compete over 10 rounds, spelling a total of 102 words. Karla Carapia from Menifee Valley Middle School secured the second place in the district competition. The Riverside County Spelling Bee is scheduled for March 28.
