The Rodeo Uncorked! Roundup & Best Bites Competition, a food and wine-focused event that kicks off the Rodeo season, recently attracted more than 5,000 attendees. Over 120 restaurants served food, and guests could taste over 450 award-winning wines from the 2024 Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition. Prizes were awarded for a variety of dishes, with highlights including Goode Co.’s seafood campechana, Pier 6’s wood-grilled coconut shrimp, and chicken tenders from Raising Cane’s. The Rookie Award went to Money Cat for its Filipino-inspired bistec bao, while Grazia Italian Kitchen took home the People’s Choice Award for its risotto with smoked wagyu chuck eye and a blueberry-rosemary-garlic-port reduction. The event serves as a prelude to the trail rides and barbecue cook-off of the Rodeo season.
