A federal judge has affirmed a $5 million arbitration award against MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, in favor of a software engineer who disputed Lindell’s claims about China interfering in the 2020 U.S. presidential election. The software engineer, Robert Zeidman, entered Lindell’s $5 million “Prove Mike Wrong Challenge” with a report that debunked Lindell’s data. Despite Lindell’s plans to appeal, the judge ordered him to pay the amount with interest within 30 days. Lindell is also facing a $1.3 billion defamation lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems and another from Smartmatic, both of which allege he falsely accused them of rigging the 2020 election. Financial struggles for Lindell and MyPillow have become apparent with Fox News stopping MyPillow ads and Lindell owing millions to law firms.
