Driver strikes pole in Aldan, causing crash with police officer to get stuck inside cruiser in Delaware County


A police officer in Delaware County, Aldan, Pennsylvania, was trapped in his vehicle after a crash on Saturday night. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. at the intersection of East Providence and Springfield roads. A driver hit a pole that subsequently fell and trapped the officer in his car. After being freed, the officer, whose identity was not released, was taken to the hospital. The condition of the other driver and potential charges they may face are still unknown.
