Chevy Silverado EV Recalled Over Incorrect Seat Belt Bezel

Chevrolet is recalling 352 Silverado EVs from the 2024 model year due to a seat belt issue. The vehicles are equipped with an incorrect second-row center seat belt bezel that could potentially tear the seat belt in a crash, increasing the risk of injury. Owners will be notified next month to bring their trucks in for a free repair. The recalled trucks were built between February 23 and November 14 of the previous year. The issue was discovered during an investigation and sled tests, but GM reports no known incidents or injuries related to the problem.
