The 1997 TVR Cerbera 4.2, known for its unique features such as a clam-shell hood, a far set engine, hidden door handles, and a ‘3+1’ seating arrangement, is powered by a 4.2-liter flat-plane-crank V8 and a Borg Warner five-speed manual gearbox. This lightweight car has an impressive power-to-weight ratio and according to Jay Leno, provides “plenty of power” and “feels like a modern car.” Unlike other cars, the Cerbera is not a mix of parts from other automakers, it is a passion project driven more by heart than by intellect.
