Concerns have been raised about job losses, with a recent study indicating that AI tools could eliminate, reduce or consolidate jobs at three-quarters of entertainment companies, impacting almost 204,000 positions over the next three years. Opportunities for AI in the industry range from creating initial concept designs, to shot planning and storyboarding. Legal issues concerning the use of copyrighted materials and AI-generated works’ eligibility for copyright protection could slow down AI adoption.
